Daniel Teles "Zaws"
Composer, audio producer, and explorer of synthesizers and electroacoustic instruments, I bring a career deeply rooted in music. With over 10,000 hours in the studio working as a producer and composer for some of the world’s leading brands and advertising agencies, I’ve developed soundtracks that not only meet but consistently exceed market expectations, all with a keen eye for sophistication and detail.
Experience and Skills
My approach seamlessly blends tradition and technology: iconic synthesizers like Buchla and Moog, combined with modular synthesis, create an unparalleled depth of sound. To these techniques, I add the power of neural networks and autonomous agents, exploring new sonic frontiers with unique, standout solutions. My musical foundation is rich and diverse, built over many years of study under masters such as Claudio Leal, Edzel Gomes, and Paulo Gori. At the Conservatory of Tatuí, I delved into popular piano with André Marques (Hermeto Pascoal) and the iconic professor Federal, and furthered my expertise in classical piano with Miriam Braga, who introduced me to the world of Villa-Lobos. I also had the honor of studying with Gilberto Mendes, a pioneer in electroacoustic music in Brazil, whose lessons continued until shortly before his passing.
Recognition and Collaborations
My experience in advertising has taught me to work with agility and precision, delivering outstanding results even under tight deadlines and quickly adapting to revisions without compromising quality. This adaptability has become a hallmark of my work, recognized in collaborations with renowned artists like Rita Lee and Charlie Brown Jr., and in award-winning projects at Cannes Lions, Clio Awards, and other international accolades. Every project represents an opportunity to innovate, fully harnessing my expertise to offer musical production that combines authenticity, speed, and excellence.
